Excellent shower filter O-ring included! It fit perfectly with my shower head, even though it’s a different brand. Installation was a breeze, and the water quality was as good as with the previous filter that came with my shower head. Definitely an improvement with water quality when using these filters. Highly recommend!

These filters really work hard getting all of the impurities out of my water system. I am on well water so having hard water is a big issue in my household. I like how I can change the filter in a matter of seconds with no tools needed. I decided to do a video on how easy it is to change, and I wanted everyone to see how dirty my filter was. I have been testing Rainley for a good few months because of its innovation with its cartridge see-thru body where I can essentially see its performance. Lo and behold, I am actually scared of what’s going on in my tap water (see attached photo) as I can literally see the old cartridge’s pleats turned dark. On one hand, it’s satisfying realizing I discovered the most dependable shower filter on the market while on the other hand, I am wondering to whether I have to move for better tap water haha. That's visual proof of everything it's catching—gross to see, but reassuring that it's actually doing the job unlike the opaque filters I've tried before that left me guessing.Your shower water has so many varying elements like your house/apt building age hence piping age, source of your tap water (your zip code). My brother and I had been comparing notes lately about our shower filtration, he lives in West Texas and his rainley micronflo filter turned a deep reddish-brown orange color in little over a month where their water is heavily influenced by geology, oil and gas byproducts like PFAs and heavy metals), plus agricultural runoff. The Micronflo Replacement Filter features a clear, transparent body with multiple slots on the side, allowing water to flow through to the shower head. The size of the filter is standard and fits the vast majority of the filter housings. The installation is straightforward and should not take more than a few minutes. The filtered water is clean without any dirt or smell. There is no adverse effect on the water flow rate. I appreciate that the filter has three major components proven to remove metals, chlorine, and other harmful chemicals. There are many thousands of different shower filters available to choose from. There is competition among sellers who provide the most stages of filtration. The highest numbers reach several dozen layers of filtration. Out of curiosity, I disassembled some of them. I doubt that they provide any advantage. Still, if you look at the filters certified by independent testing agencies, most of them use the same ingredients that are present in this filter. I appreciate that the filter is transparent, allowing the level of contamination to be visible. I could not find on Amazon the transparent housing of the standard size that would be very helpful in determining the time of filter replacement. The Micronflo Filter is above the average shower head filter based on water quality and my experience.

Great replacement that fits in other filters too, not just the same brand. I haven’t super hard water and this seems to work a little better than the standard filters to improve the water quality coming out of the shower head.
