Bossa is an inline shower filter that installs in seconds between your existing shower arm and showerhead — no tools, no plumber, no replacement of anything you already have. It fits all standard ½" IPS connections and works with both fixed and handheld setups.

At its core is the MicronFlo replacement cartridge (patent pending, USPTO #18/778,307) — a pleated filter membrane that uses mechanical sieving to capture particles as small as 5 microns, including sediment, rust, pipe scale, sand, and larger microplastics that loose-media filters let through. Once pre-filtered by the pleats, water passes through an inner chamber where KDF-55, Calcium Sulfite, and Activated Carbon Fiber work to reduce chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, and chemical impurities that contribute to dry skin, scalp irritation, frizz, and dull hair.

What makes Bossa different from every other inline filter is what you can see. The transparent casing lets you watch the MicronFlo cartridge change color as it works — white pleats gradually darkening to amber, brown, or grey depending on your local water. No guessing, no subscription schedules, no arbitrary replacement dates. You replace it when you can see it's time.

Bossa is designed for both municipal tap water and private well water. It is compatible with hard water conditions and addresses the contaminants most commonly associated with post-shower dryness, irritation, eczema flares, frizzy hair, color fade, and scalp sensitivity.

What Bossa reduces: chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, iron, rust, sediment, pipe scale, microplastics (particles larger than 5 microns), and hydrogen sulfide.

What Bossa does not do: it does not boost your home's incoming water pressure, which is determined by your municipality or well infrastructure and is outside the product's control. It does not remove nitrates, arsenic, fluoride, or biological contaminants requiring UV or reverse osmosis treatment. If your well water has known nitrate or arsenic contamination, consult a certified water treatment specialist.

If your flow rate slows noticeably before the typical 90-day cartridge life, this generally means your local water carries a higher-than-average sediment or contaminant load — the filter is doing its job. Replace the cartridge and continue with cleaner water.
