Rainley MicronFlo Cartridge

MicronFlo is Rainley's patent-pending replacement filter cartridge. MicronFlo works two ways — as a replacement cartridge for most standard inline shower filter housings you may already own, or paired with the Rainley Bossa housing for a complete starter setup. Either way, installation takes under a minute with no tools. Standard dimensions: 2.68" x 2.4" x 2.4" — measure your current cartridge to confirm fit before purchasing.

At the core of MicronFlo is a two-stage filtration mechanism. The outer pleated membrane uses mechanical sieving to capture particles as small as 5 microns — 14x finer than a human hair — including microplastics, sediment, rust, pipe scale, and sand that loose-media filter beds let slip through. Once pre-filtered by the pleats, water enters the inner chamber where KDF-55, Calcium Sulfite, and Activated Carbon Fiber work to reduce chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, and chemical impurities that contribute to dry skin, scalp irritation, frizz, color fade, and hair thinning.

MicronFlo is designed for both municipal tap water and private well water, including hard water conditions. It is especially effective for customers managing sensitive or reactive skin, eczema, dandruff, psoriasis, color-treated hair, keratin treatments, and post-salon hair investments they want to protect.

What makes MicronFlo different from every other replacement cartridge is what you can see. The white pleats visibly discolor — turning amber, brown, or grey depending on your local water — as they capture contaminants. This built-in visual indicator means you replace the cartridge based on actual buildup, not an arbitrary subscription schedule. You're in control.

Cartridge life varies by household size and local water quality. The 90-day estimate assumes 2 adults and 1 child on standard municipal water — single users will typically get more life, while households in high-sediment areas may need to replace sooner. Watch the pleats, not the calendar.

What MicronFlo reduces: chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, iron, rust, sediment, pipe scale, microplastics (particles larger than 5 microns), and hydrogen sulfide.

What MicronFlo does not address: nitrates, fluoride, arsenic, or biological contaminants requiring UV or reverse osmosis treatment. MicronFlo is not a substitute for whole-home water treatment or well water disinfection. Customers with known nitrate or arsenic contamination in their well water should consult a certified water treatment specialist.

MicronFlo does not affect your home's incoming water pressure, which is determined by your municipality or well infrastructure.
